So good to win the game. It’s horrendous Test cricket, but lovely to win a Test in Aus finally.

Yep.  Great to get the win and at the MCG as well, but I hope it's not used as some kind of justification for their approach on this tour.  Some serious questions still need to be asked about the preparation and the thinking that has gone on before and during this tour.

Worst test match ever.

Still much more fun than pancake pitches where both sides score 600 and there is never a chance of a result, IMO.

We’ve all given England pelters for 3 tests and it is a dead rubber but how poor were Australia today, when Atkinson hobbled off and Stokes was clearly carrying a knock they only had to knuckle down for an hour or so to be down to Jacks & Root having to bowl….they have a lot of question marks still over Weatherald / Green etc and the big bowlers all getting to veteran stage together.

Will be v interesting to see what teams are like for the 1st test of next Ashes

No. That was Perth. England won  this  one so one of the best over there.

Cricket Australia can cry in their Hazy Pale ale over the losses at Perth and MCG but if they are going to sacrifice it all at the alter of multi-use stadia then that's what they deserve.

Great win but what a shocking pitch, 36 wickets in just under 2 days is unacceptable.

The potential revenue they have missed out on during this tour so far must be eye-watering.

This flag was nicked at the MCG but has been recovered by an England fan in touch with my brother over there. If it belongs to anyone on here, or if anyone on here knows who it belongs to, let me know and should be able to sort a handover on the other side of the world.
