Sigh. Our batting. By the time it's all over we can probably count on our thumbs the number of innings over 200 from England this series.

Is the pitch doing much or is it just our shitness?

It’s fast but surprisingly the added bounce in not there, it’s keeping reasonably low more or less all dismissals are due to brilliant line length and pace from Starc. There is not much threat from other bowlers but batters really look out of touch. Playing like first day of nets in April.

Not a very bright shot that. It’s very disappointing.

It appears yet again that England are mentally beaten before even getting out onto the field in Australia.

Yes Starc has bowled very well but this has been a spineless pathetic effort from the batters. Australia are missing Cummins and Hazelwood and Boland potentially has an injury and this is how England "seize" their chance?

Almost as if we had no warm-ups!

Thing is when you bat so abysmally you basically leave yourself needing snookers even if there is something in the pitch. Less than 200 is probably a series killer, short of something remarkable.

Way way too kind.

It was a disgrace of an innings

It’s so easy for Australia now.
