I can’t decide if this break for bad light is good for England or not

What a game this has been. I’d favour India here, but still very balanced.

I can't see the players left getting 35 at the moment. The two out there only got 2 in about 5 overs with about three close outs.

Back tomorrow it is.

and an extra evening for Woakes to recover if he's needed. Having popped my shoulder out in exactly the same way I can tell you it won't be comfortable but fuck loads of tape and a painkilling injection and he'll be able to go out and play forward defences pretty reasonably but I can't see him scoring many. Hopefully he won't be needed.

Going to be gusty tomorrow. Will be difficult to knock these off. Could affect the bowlers too I suppose.

I think this early finish really helps India. A night’s rest for their bowlers and a new ball due soon after the start.

I guess we'll see but I think the break helps England more. Reset tomorrow morning.

It may be we get blown away in the morning, but equally it could be entirely different. Smith is a brilliant bat, and Overton is very capable.

I think the break favours England. I think Smith had got into the wrong headspace, the break gives him the chance to reset.
