These two are doing great, but add two wickets and it’s massively back in India’s favour. Got to keep going.

These two need to avoid a mistake for the next ten overs. If only Krishna can bowl a good toe breaker now.

I can't think of many or any way that England can mess this up now. Number 1 and 2 have been superb.

That's horrific from Akash, as bad a bit of fielding as you'll ever see.

Huge century for Brook, he's been exceptional since lunch.

Great innings, and a completely deranged, clownish way to end it. Top Brook action.

It's all on Root now, as we're effectively 5 down.

I feel for Bethell here, he's in a really difficult situation of barely having any cricket all summer, having been overlooked for Dawson in the last test despite being with the squad all along and now being expected to fill in for one of the best all-rounders in the world.

He looks both very nervous and fully aware that he needs to try to play his normal game.

I don’t feel for Bethell anything other than joy. He has a wonderful opportunity handed to him with Stokes absence, something that he may have not got this season.

This is gone now

Yeah, you'd think so. Brook and Root need at least 150 between them and even that probably wouldn't be enough.

200+ and Root still in. That'll do, pig. That'll do.

Absolutely nothing wrong with holding the end down with Root still in, Jacob 🫠

Dream scenario is about 360-9, leaving Woakes with no option but to needle the last runs with one arm in a sling.
Why did you say that?
