Agreed. What needs to desperately happen is for the umpires to get a grip of it. 32 overs now in 3 days just completely lost for absolutely no reason.

Gill complaining about Crawley calling the trainer on after getting hit on the glove is a disgrace. Where's his wicket keeper who managed to bat but called the trainer on every 20 minutes but can't field ?

Its a huge problem in general. All teams are guilty of taking the piss. I remember on here a couple of years ago when during the last Ashes test on day 4 when Australia deliberately bowled their overs at a snails pace, that it was acceptable as the cricket was entertaining....

I worry for England today. My attitude at this point, given the position of the series, this game on this pitch is must not lose. I think setting a total on this would be incredibly hard. I fear the win at pretty much all costs could be a real danger here. Hope I’m wrong.

Indian quickies are going to rely on bouncers today just as other teams have successfully done so at aging Lord’s pitch in the past. Indian spinners will look for batters footwork damaged patches that will make it a nightmare for lefthanders like Stokes. If England get to about 250 plus that would be a great achievement and possibly a win tomorrow as a result.
