I said yesterday I reckon 350 odd puts you in the game, but it does depend what the pitch does. It does seem to have a bit more pace today.

With our bowling attack we really need 500. Gonna be miles short of that.

I'm not trying to be a dick here but do you actually get any enjoyment out of watching cricket?

On the match this is good from Smith, like pwa I think 350 is competitive here, lots of pace and movement in the pitch, exactly as expected at lords.

Also, the decision to rest Bumrah last time is looking good, he's been exceptional this morning.

Gill is not happy with the ball that they’ve been given since it was changed. He’s been very animated with the umpires so he needs to wind it in a little.

They had a ball that was 64 balls old and was doing plenty. They then suggested to the umpires that it was out of shape and indeed it didn’t fit through the rings that they use in these circumstances. The trouble is that you are never going to get a like for like replacement and it’s unlikely that the box of replacement balls contains a ball that is just ten overs old so the one that they’re using looks considerably older.

It’s a risk you take and must live with the consequences.

I'm not sure why you'd swap the ball after 3 wickets from your strike bowler, even if you weren't feeling it.

Another ball change coming up. This is getting ridiculous now.

They've had more balls than Wimbledon.

I try not to get enjoyment out of anything these days 😉

Seems a common occurence now, can't recall this many ball changes a few years ago. Anyway Smith and Carse are digging in and putting on a decent partnership.

Good recovery from Smith (what a player he is) and Carse.

Smith is a class act. I hope England don't start moving him around the order or try to play him without being wicket keeper or anything like that. He's perfect as an attacking number 7.

Great session of cricket. Bumrah was incredible first up, very enjoyable to watch. Then India lost the plot over changing the ball and Smith and Carse with a good counterattack.

116 runs from the final three wickets is marvellous and could be vital.
