As an aside England blew that game, but that was just blatant abuse of the concussion sub rule.

England have a real problem in terms of coaching, conditioning.

Salt going on the attack, some lovely shots this morning, 26 off that over.

Frustrating that we then lost 3 quick wickets and then saw Root go just as we were building the innings again. Lots of pressure on Buttler and Bethell now because this pair really need to try to stick around for 15-20overs to give us a chance of a 350+ score.

Entirely on me, I checked the score just before the first wicket fell.

Really frustrating performance this, lots of starts to partnerships but nothing that really turned into a match defining one.

Jof is putting up a bit of a slog now though to hopefully give us something to bowl at.

England men are so rubbish they'd struggle to beat England women.

It's a funny one this. From the start we had we're 100runs short.

From the middle overs it's probably 40-50 more than we might have been looking at when Livingstone went.

I think India will win comfortably though.

This start at least makes things interesting.

India 19/2 after 5.2

A couple more wickets and keep that run rate down and we might have a game.

Good start for England so far, 56-0 off 7 overs.

It is. It’s an odd selection for me though - pace attack is a bit samey and Overton at 7 is high.

India are strong, but England just don’t look like we’re playing with much thought/planning at the moment. Like I said, the attack looked too samey and we just needed to be tactically smarter.
