This is a remarkable collapse. 220 odd for 2 and 260 odd for 9. 100 odd run deficit means they’ve pretty much certainly lost this game given the pitch won’t get any easier.

Important 10th wicket runs from Leach and Bashir to get the lead down to 75 runs. I think the spinners taking all 10 wickets has vindicated Pakistan’s decision to re-use the pitch from the first innings. That and only picking one seamer!

The thing that I like about this England side is that they never give up and believe that they can always win a game until the reach a point when they can’t. Don’t write them off yet, we are still in only the 4th session of the test so there’s still a long way to go.

7th but yes, the main point is still correct.

Looks set up for exciting finish between Pakistan and England. Need to avoid any massive partnerships. Meanwhile, India 46 all out against New Zealand. Lowest ever home score.

We will get rolled in the second innings here I suspect.

231-8, if we can keep the lead under 250 then it will be an interesting chase. I think that Pakistan are still favourites to win the test but if one of our batsmen can play a mature innings then we have a chance.

Badly unravelling. This has 120 all out in response type feel to it.

Lead is now close to 300 but their last partnership shows that runs are available, so could be interesting.

They will go for it I would have thought.  If the openers stay in for 15 - 20 and score at their usual rate, they will have put a decent dent in it.

Edit - that post lasted well!!

Not the best start 11-2.

This game was lost with the collapse yesterday. If we’d got to roughly parity Pakistan’s mindset would have been completely different.

It's a tough one Paul, given how dramatically the conditions have changed.
