Three wickets in four balls for Gus Atkinson and a 5-fer on debut. That’s stolen Jimmy’s thunder!

Sharp catch from Pope, it's all action at the moment.

Very impressive debut from Atkinson, though with the caveat that we don't know how much is down to the West Indies being shit.

Since lunch the Windies have gone from 88-3 to 106-9, some of them have really handed their wickets to England on a plate.

Sir Jimmy needs 9 of the remaining 11 wickets to go past Warne

EDIT - there's the first of 'em

Extras could move up the order the Windies second innings.

Just what's happened to WI cricket? Rohan and Alvin are turning in their grave. (not sure if either are dead)

Both alive, 75 and 88 not out, respectively.

Other way round.

You had me puzzled there as to how Alvin could be older than Rohan :)

I remember watching Alvin play on TV

Beat Australia in Brisbane last time out. Not to be sniffed at. Blame adaptation to conditions and rustiness. Not aided by one rain-affected game at Beckenham being the extent of their preparations. Will grow into the series.

Whoops. I think, in my head, I had automatically decided Alvin must be first, like in the chipmunks song.

I don’t think they will grow into the series, they are an average side. The decline in the standard of their cricket is sad to see.

Aggers and Tuffers talking about 'fingering' has leg-over potential

Aggers...."what you learnt as a teenager in terms of fingering technique"

Tufffers...."there was always a tricky one underneath. Don't know what that was all about"
