Falling in a heap. Short of an all timer from Brook it’s gone.

Although if India do win this tournament it should be fully caveated that it’s been set up to give them the most possible advantages.

Looking at this, 100 would have been out of Englands range.

Thats horrendous from Bairstow. A cross batted shot like that on this surface is asking for trouble

This is all about scoreboard pressure, England know that the target is very tough on this pitch and it's led to some poor shots as they're trying to push things. 150 as the target and I reckon neither Buttler or Bairstow play those shots which were clearly them trying to target someone they'd decided they could score big runs from.

Why the hell has Curran bothered to question that?

I don't understand why Ali is in the team if he isn't going to bowl. Both Jacks and Duckett are better batters

Couldn't agree more.  These days, he's not even great with the bat.

I said earlier this tournament that if one of the top 4 don’t get runs there’s just nothing of substance in the lower middle order. But I do come back to the fact the deck has been stacked in India’s favour, which is utterly outrageous in terms of how a tournament is set up.

We looked a beaten team in the field in fairness. Allowing India anywhere near 170 was absolutely piss poor, and the players knew that. Thats translated into the batting.

Before the tournament started India knew that in the event they got to the semi-final they d play in Guyana, which meant they could pick their squad to be tailored for this pitch. No other team knew their potential venue, it’s outrageous.

Oh right, thanks for explaining. I wasn't aware of that.

It has been, but India have been clearly the best team throughout too. In fairness, besides the win against West Indies, England have been turd against the proper teams.

Getting to a semi final definitely flatters them.
