Like the rest of the team, he wasn't very good, especially for the first. Pretending he wasn't is just being dishonest with yourself. When Lovre breaks down, the things you do, to stop the truth from hurting you.

With hindsight, that was a dumb game to give as a debut, nearly as dumb as not lettting Super John have a wee break.

Yes, should have give him a few more training sessions to get acclimatised. You can’t hurry Lovre.

Just watched and whilst he could have done better for the first he would have been mightily impressive to have stopped either of the others.
