I think KMac gave up any ambitions to be a first team manager a long time ago. He’s in a no win position having again been asked to hold the ship steady for a couple of games. Under the circimstances he deserves a break from the vitriol

If you want the rainbow you've got to put up with the rain. It's the only way I can see things at the moment

Expected a defeat today so not surprised. Whoever comes in will hopefully give us a new manager bounce and some of the wasters will realise they need to put in shift.

The reality though is that best we can hope for this season is some short-termism to get in whoever can shore up the defence in January, and maybe a run in the second half of the season in the pursuit of a play-off spot.

Long term this in now a complete re-build job, with no money.  I'm yet to be convinced that the new owners and their Chief Exec are up to it. Next week's appointment will perhaps give an inkling.

Villa Park must be under three hundred feet of water by now.

We’ll have money in the long term of that there is no doubt. It’s the short term where we’re going to have to be savvy

It’s apples and bananas. He proved that last time he was asked to step up and keep us steady. Nothing competent about him then just as there wasn’t today.

I'm.not predicting bud, but I am saying that we shouldn't let ourselves be weighed down by the blanket of negativity that Bruce has thrown over us.

Allardyce is the best shit option and today has made me think perhaps we do just need an old fashioned safe pair of hands (which Bruce wasn’t). It’s depressing to be thinking that way though.
Let’s not panic just yet. That’s the thinking that got us saddled with Bruce. We’ve all said we need to rebuild and now is the time, two years too late admittedly. But in my view Allardyce would be an almost sideways move and it would end as it always ends with him and we would need to start again.

As the title says - Abject. Utter shit. Fuck off Kmac. The sooner he’s gone also the better

You want him sacked the day after the team that are his day job responsibility won 8-0?  & he is doing a perfectly good job in that day job, hopefully the next one in the big seat might actually take notice of the young players we produce.

Yes. He should have been sacked a long time ago.

Really?? I’d say he’s done his job pretty well
