Diafuckingbolical.  I feel sorry for whoever has to take this shambles over.  That abject c*** Bruce has got a fucking lot to answer for, the potato-faced, salad-dodging twat.
You would hope the players are taking a long hard look at themselves, pphhhhhh.

Kodjia fucked off down the tunnel straight away after the whistle. Hutton was also looking at the Villa fans like a knob head after not surprisingly a few told him to fuck off.

You can't have it both ways, if you tell players to f**k off, then they are not going to acknowledge you next game!

Allardyce is the best shit option and today has made me think perhaps we do just need an old fashioned safe pair of hands (which Bruce wasn’t). It’s depressing to be thinking that way though.

Stop it.

We'll be fine.

Define "fine".

Not relegated. Not mid table. Play-off minimum and pushing for automatic promotion.

Based on today's performance I wouldn't be right however, our manager has just been sacked along with all the staff. Our academy boss took charge and he hasn't a clue either.

A new manager will get far more out of this bunch.
Not sure about pushing for automatic promotion but I absolutely agree with the last sentence and for that reason it can't come soon enough.

There's a fair few post on the last few pages which show exactly why we end up repeating the same mistakes over and over again. Allerdyce would be a shit choice, just like Bruce, RDM, Sherwood and McLeish were shit choices. It's just a perpetual "we'll deal with it tomorrow" attitude which means everything is about the next 5-6 games and nothing ever gets considered after that.

We're not making the top 2 this season, that's been clear for ages. The liberating part of accepting that is that it means we can concentrate on getting into the play offs and finding a way to play where we aren't scared of our own fucking shadow when we get there.

Proper manager who can spot flaws and fix them on the training ground, proper coaching team that push the players to be their best and a scouting setup that concentrates on players that fit our style and roles rather than signing players because they're good, honest lads.  Sort that lot and we'll be fine but you don't get their by signing a manager on the basis that he'll kick the players up the arse.

We could get Guardiola but we're going nowhere with that defence and three terrible goalkeepers. There is no balance at all to our squad.

Agreed 100%. On field leadership departed with Terry and Snodgrass too.

Millwall and Preston just knew if they stuck into us physically we would wilt. A slow, lazy, soft bunch of players.

I just can't believe that some think the negative cycle that AVFC have been in,  pre or post relegation, will be ended with the appointment of an Allardyce or Moyes.  Mind you, Jesus Christ himself might struggle with the present situation. Christ it's so depressing.

For the last bloody time, Allardyce is absolutely the wrong choice. He's the Bruce option we chose two years ago. We all agree the club is broken and needs a complete change of direction, so why the hell do we go all knee-jerk and hire someone who knows how to grind out a draw again? I'll take the extra season in the Championship if it means we come back looking absolutely brilliant with a manager that's right for us rather than a stopgap who clearly isn't.

Whoever comes in will have to sort out the problems that Bruce has created and left behind:

A unbalanced squad with players who seemed decent when signed, but  have been asked play out of position, picked, dropped, picked and dropped so that they've lost confidence and have forgotten how good they were.

We won't be able to sign anybody until January at the earliest.

So whoever comes in will have to design a system using the players we have that gets around these problems - lack of ambition tactically, no defence to speak of and a forward line that doesn't seem to know what shape or style of attack we're trying to play or who and how they're going to be supported.

Are the playoffs achievable? Possibly. Automatic promotion  - unlikely.

It's going to take a clear thinker who can coach this mish mash and set them up properly. Maximise what we have- one top talent up front and minimise our weaknesses- which are clearly the back 4. And look at some of the kids.

Utter bellend on BBC Sport website: "Greg's Goals: 2018-19 average points; with Bruce: 1.44 per game. Without Bruce: 0.00 per game. Just shows how much those cabbage throwing 'fans' know about the game."

Indeed, well the mighty Bruce built this shambles and it was fan not ‘fans’.

We must accept we may not go up this season but we must find a style of play get the players working on patterns find a team spirit.

End of the season jedinak whelan richards bunn Hutton all out of contract must go.

We need to then buy players to fit a system a style of play not just buy players and try to fit them in.

We cannot go with Moyes and Allardyce we need to go with a young manager and give them a chance.

No fuck that, bollocks to ‘proper football men’. I want someone to shake up us with innovative thought, not another fucking has been who will “stabilise” us, which is basically a euphemism for building a team to try and achieve a short-term goal, which never works, and then we’re fucked all over again.
