Chuck em under the bus Brucie

Oh, he will.
I’ve wanted Bruce out since the play off final.  But sometimes the players just need to stand up and be counted.  Ok, Bree is out of position but there’s some decent quality in that line up and the likes of Lansbury, Hourihane, Adomah afnd RHM need to sort themselves out.
Have you seen Steve's alternate post match comments ?

It's a shit lineup. Yet again players out of position. Seriously what does anyone expect? We're (the manager, club and probably players) not bothered about this competition.

Attempt saved. Conor Hourihane (Aston Villa) header from the centre of the box is saved in the centre of the goal.

Even if we (he) has not prioritised this competition, why not try and learn something from it.

A new formation and more players played out of position means we don't even get that. Never mind the prospect of gaining confidence from a clean sheet and a few goals for the strikers!

Nothing is served by his approach to this match - other than he edges closer to the exit, maybe that is the grand plan?

Losing is losing and becomes a habit. Regardless of the opposition or the competition.

I expect us not to look shit against Burton.

yet we sold out our allocation again and the man from sky said earlier that they were the best thing about Villa he had seen

I know fans expect changes in games like this but this is just pissing all over those who travelled

I’d love to know Bruce’s record in cups for us.
