Chasing the game now. What are our attacking options off the bench?

We could bring on one of the right backs or defensive midfielders that Bruce has stockpiled.

What's the point in cobbling a team together for this competition?

Either take it seriously (which I wouldn't) or play the full junior team - with said manager.

This benefits nobody.

Chuck em under the bus Brucie

Oh, he will.
I’ve wanted Bruce out since the play off final.  But sometimes the players just need to stand up and be counted.  Ok, Bree is out of position but there’s some decent quality in that line up and the likes of Lansbury, Hourihane, Adomah and RHM need to sort themselves out.

I think we just have to accept Bruce has zero interest in getting through in this competition.  It prevents him having an autumnal break in his favourite pad in Portugal.

Is Mendes Bruce's agent?

Just had this from my mate who’s there.

I cannot tell you how bad this is and no options on the bench. Bruce playing games with the board with his selection.

Precisely, this is the only cup competition Villa can progress through to maybe face a top side, lift the club during the bleaker months, he'd be very wrong to dismiss this out of hand.
