Why on earth was there even a question about McGinn starting for Scotland ffs. He's their best player by a country mile. Play Villa formation, stick him on the right and let him run the game.

And because they desperately want to play two strikers because that's more 'attacking' because they live in the nineties.

Yeah on that theme the hero worship of McTominay as if going off to play in Serie A is still the pinnacle of club football, not flat track bullying in a weaker league.

From bit part player for Man U to title winning goal scoring midfield sensation at Napoli is pretty impressive in my book, irrespective of the quality of Serie A.
