Yep. We've had some great captains over the years, and he's right up there. It didn't come about the right way in that Mings was stripped of it, but in the end he's really embraced the role.

Only on H&V would there be complete disinterest in Demi Lovato’s backside.

9 goals in Europe for us now, joins Withe as our top scorer.

Or as the TNT host said, Peter White.

He has pulled us up yet again. It will be a very sad day when he hangs it up. He will go down in Villa folklore as a player that never gave up. We need to see him lift a trophy for us and for himself.

SJM makes such a difference, not just his play but his leadership on the pitch and influence in the dressing room.

I've said before, of all the players doing so well for us he will be the hardest to replace when the time comes.

Considering other teams have spent £100's of millions to get a midfield as good as ours, McGinn was £3mil and both Kamara and Tielemans were freebies.

Knits it all together, finding pockets of space that others don’t, retaining possession, taking opponents out of the game and moving us up the pitch, not to mention a scorer of sublime and crucial goals.

Villa legend.

I went with a couple of West Ham fans today and they commented after not only is a fantastic footballer but he also takes it personally to win that ball back when lost

Not just a brilliant footballer but such a great guy too. I love the way he treats his mascot kids before the game.
