I do think we're beginning to sound like wankers when dismissing clubs like Everton.
It's the offer that's dismissive. £18m for our captain, who's a vital member of our squad is laughable.

As Henry Winter has put it so well this am, even as an impact sub, he's worth way more than £18m to Villa.

The slightest notion of even thinking about maybe considering the spark of a thought about McGinn being sold is laughable.

The only thought we should be having about John McGinn, is whether we offer him a new 5 or 7 year contract.

Would you be interested in selling McGinn for 18 mill if you could get Luiz at the same price?

No. McGinn doesn't leave until we win the FA Cup. If we have to Weekend at Bernie's him to make that happen, so be it.

I'd sell him for £30m. Everyone has a price.

I don't think you can replace what he brings for that. You'd probably need 2 players, one of which would need to be a true leader.

Totally. I want SJM to be the first Villa captain in a generation and a half to win that pot.

Wouldn't put it past Monchi and Vidagany to double back and accept the offer given they're track record.  Should be pushing to get tat like  Buendia and Onana out of the door first

Ignore the troll.

The 'track record', to be clear, is finishes of 7th, 4th and 6th.

But yes, what a strange way of spending your precious time on this earth.

Well he was right that Watkins and Martinez had been sold so he might be right here.
