Did anyone notice that when they put SJM and Mings up on the big screen yesterday he didn't give a thumbs up even when pushed by Mings to do it? I think he was too embarrassed to be in the stands for a huge game after the stupid red card, especially as captain. That shows a really top class mentality and is a good indicator of where we are as a team now compared to recent years. I'm expecting him to be seriously fired up when he returns next week.
I hope he's not "fired up" as that's what got him in trouble against spuds.

Yeah, they both seem good lads. Who was off-camera during 'the best manager' discussion?

I know it's primarily a puff piece but it is nice to see players and their personalities.

Have they also got that short one of him and Watkins discussing how they want each other's national side to get on?

The Emery one is terrible. First question from the interviewer, "You say good evening and good afternoon every time....why"?

It does sound worse when you use ellipses to cut out her stating she doesn't get it much in any other managerial interviews which was the point in asking. And she is correct, how many other managers do you notice greeting the interviewer after the match? It is very unique to him.

He won't still be there, if you're thinking of stalking him!

The same day as the City match obviously. Martinez had not recovered from the Wurlitzers and that as well as the dodgy hot dog was why he had the Wurlshitzers.
