I guess to be fair to those at Villa Park, they didn't see it in slow motion like we did. It was a red card, but it wasn't studs up or a leg breaker.

But you see infringements like that where the player doesn’t go flying and a yellow is given. I can see why it was given. I just don’t think it merited a straight red when you see how much other stuff goes unpunished or only given as yellows.
