Yesterday was possibly the best performance I have seen from him. Superb

There was a beautiful moment where he used his arse to lever one of theirs who then promptly just lost balance and went sprawling. I loved it.

Has really improved since Unai came in, as he was pretty rubbish for a good while before that under Gerrard and Smith

Pleased for him.

He was pretty rubbish mainly because of the shit former manager. But this is also the fittest we have seen him. He just seems a little possessed right now and taking the managers instructions and determination on to the pitch with him.

He was excellent. I would like to see him add more goals to his game.

McGinn did perform wonderfully against Spurs despite receiving a booking.
Recently, he finally realised what was going on and realised how to play his role in the team under Emery instructions

I worry about him because I think a lot better technical player who offers and scores more goals will replace him come the summer.
He might be reduced to the Henderson of Liverpool type and used from the bench or rotated in but not a first choicer.
Certainly he would be required and valued for the squad if Villa were to get the extra matches with European matches.
But as he's just not a goal-scoring midfielder he's going to be upgraded to one who is in my view.

Hope to hear news of SJM signing a new contract in the next couple of weeks. A Villa legend.

It was a fantastic performance on Saturday, absolutely superb.  Shame MOTD didn't highlight it but at least they let us know our high line will get found out.

Emery has turned the idiosyncrasies in his game into superpowers and it's a beautiful thing.
