Actually brilliant from Callum Wilson responding to SJM’s comments after last weeks game

Yeah, fair play.  People say daft shit all the time at work don't they.

90% of that podcast is someone laughing over everyone else / “bro” / “You know what I mean”.

Bring back that Joe Devine bell end and the droning on and on about XG.

All is forgiven.

Oh believe me, I’m not listening to the 90%. It’s precisely as you’ve described it. I’d be fearing that useless, laughing like a twat wanker Micah Richards to jump onto my screen any minute.

I thought it was nice to hear some warm conversation. As well as CW taking McGiniesta’s burn so well. They seem like nice chaps and not any less insightful than your average pundit. Different people talk differently, all good.

He couldn't really do anything else other than pay him his dues.

A mention for John McGinn's corners tonight. Looks like he's been practising with Luiz, because they were put into really dangerous areas just under the bar. Great stuff.

He’s taken the captaincy with incredible seriousness. Looks in brilliant shape too. Playing his best football since coming to the club.

He named his "compatriot", Austin, afterwards in the interview and the work they've been doing.

Every one of our corners in the first half was delivered with real pace and intent, with no short corners or floaty nonsense - it was obvious that it was part of the game plan against Fulham.  I don't know whether that is just down to McPhee or the fact that Emery is more open to working on specific plans for specific teams, but they just seem to have cracked every opponent's weaknesses at the moment.

I said after the first 2 or 3 corners that we would score off one eventually as it was such a clear part of what we had worked on this week, and just like pretty much everyone else before them Fulham could do absolutely nothing about it.

Fulham were a big side, and floaty corners would have allowed them time to cover, I think a pacier version gave us more chance. Anyway, McGinn is doing just fine thank you very much.

I thought they were a particularly small side other than a couple of defenders.

That centre half was huge, I think that's what I meant.
