Anonymous for the second half and made a couple of poor decisions in the first.

Thought we noticeably went to pot and lost any shape we had when he went off.

He has been ropey in some games earlier season but better recently.

I hope the booing was directed at the substitution itself and not him. There's no lack of graft from him even when he is off form.

He can graft all he wants but what is the point when you make a decision like shooting at a tight angle, on your weak foot when there is a clear pass on? Piss poor decision making regularly from him.

Yep that was typical of him. Terrible.

Another non-descript performance, no leadership on the pitch. Beginning to think he needs to be sold, let alone stripped of the captaincy

Agreed, terrible decision to take him off. Gerrard was only playing to the crowd with that one.

Why was it a terrible decision? He did fuck all except shoot from a ridiculous angle when anybody with half a footballing brain would have passed it to the man in space. Almost as bad a mistake as Mings made.

Do you have an alert on your phone whenever someone says something positive about McGinn?

It's called reading the forum and responding to people Clampy, it's how this place works.

It was pretty much the good and bad of McGinn in one incident.

We were on top in midfield before he was hooked. We lost all semblance of shape once Coutinho came on. He used the ball a lot better today, that example in the box aside.
