Only caught the very end of it, The Duke of Cambridge was interviewing John McGinn on Sky.

Yes the prince was declaring his undying love for Tyrone during the interview from John.

Does anyone think we'll go back to 4 at the back when McGinn returns?

I do like the 3-4-3 system but McGinn and Luiz are are two best CMs and I think a third-man (Nakamba or Conor) would suit them better and allow them to break forward.

I think we may well and I think it would be a good thing if he can get back to his best quickly.

Xmas has come early cant wait for super john mcginn to come back. He will obviously need games so we need to eb patient with him and not expect a lot straight away

Will also help grealish as we wont have ti rely so heavily in him.

Wonder if he'll be involved for the final, I can see him getting a spot on the bench if the week goes well.

Can see him being back for the Chelsea game, another three weeks away.

Important not to put too much expectation on him although he will probably pop up with a key goal in the run in.

I hope not.  Use the two weeks to get his fitness up and make sure he's not rushed back.  Even with McGinn, I think Man City will have too much for us, and I'd hate him to have a setback and miss league games.  He could be the difference between staying up and going down.

Based on the performance of our midfield recently, I reckon as soon as John can stand on one leg he will be back in the middle with another two alongside him.

Teams were running through our midfield when SJM was playing, he will help the team but he is not The panacea

As massively fucked off as I am the thought of McGinn’s return to a dreadful midfield, akin to signing a £50m player in March fills me with a bit of optimism that it will be enough to see us through. I realize other clubs may also have players returning from injury but how many represent to the club, his fellow players and the fans what McGinn does to us? Not many I would guess. Two months of a recharged McGinn will be just what we need.

We need McGinn, Luiz and Nakamba in the middle. Grealish off the striker. Fuck the wide shite like AEG and Trez off. They're not up for it.

Agree with this, we also need to use Hourihane more from the bench. AEG is too inconsistent and Trez, well I’ve yet to see what the point of him is. A nothing player.

No pressure at all, John, mate. We just need you to come back from a lengthy lay off and single handedly save our season.
