we could win 3 of the 8 games with SJM  , lets try and get an extra 6 pts on the board before the magpies game . . Its still possible we can do this .

Why say "It's still possible" like it's some Herculean task when we're not even in the bottom three?

Yep

Then that would mean those currently in the bottom 3 would also have to produce form above a Herculean task, wouldn't it?

We're in a 5-team mini league and we just have to get one of the spots in the top 3 of that mini league. Hardly Herculean.

I'm confused - if 3rd out of the 5 in this mini league is that not 3rd from bottom and relegation?

I'm guessing Norwich aren't in the mini league?

Dean Smith saying McGinn “would”  love to be back for the Cup Final and he is running on grass with no pain but also said he “would” love to be back for all big games.

Sky Sports News presenting it as McGinn “could” be back for the Cup Final.

Settle for him missing  the Newcastle game and scoring the winner in the League Cup Final.

Deal?

To be fair, Smith didn’t say he is running on grass.
He said he is running on the ‘g machine’ and could soon be out on the grass.
