As we spotted last week, though I was rightly corrected by PWS about age, there are two more McGinn brothers at St Mirren.

The player who would slot in brilliantly in our current side? - Rob Snodgrass!
Energy, attitude and an eye for goal.

Just needs to stop the yellow cards count.  We can't afford to be without him.
Yeah that's the only criticism I have of him, he's already served a one match ban, otherwise he's been brilliant. Reminds me very much of Des Bremner.

The lad is brilliant.  If I'm grateful to Bruce for one thing, it's signing McGinn.  It was absolute highway robbery to get him for the price we did, can't believe he was so cheap or that he didn't go a Premier League team to be honest.  He looks a £20m player all day long.

Agree with the comparison-although I cannot remember Des scoring a header-not one he meant anyway.

Given how skint most of Scottish football is you almost feel bad for Hibs. To the extent that you might hope there is tiny performance clause in the deal so that if we go up they get something for what is highway robbery.

I don't hope that, we paid the fee they wanted. If he'd turned out to be crap they wouldn't be offering to give us any money back.

Wouldn't it be great if we could take some off  our recent signings back and get a full refund.  Perhaps we should sign players by using the company credit card so that we can claim against the credit card company when we realise we have signed a defective player.

We'd be limited to only signing players for between £10 and £30,000. Like Small Heath.

Can't we get a £30m limit or is £30k the most you can claim back ?  If that's the case to take back Richard's.  Etc.. and at least get something back would have helped our FFP problems no end.
