He’s had a few quiet games but great to see him so involved yesterday.  An excellent signing I know exactly what you mean re the arse thing. He steps past the ball and shields with his backside, something he does a lot.

McGinn was brilliant yesterday. One of those all-action midfield performances that opposition teams hate.

Someone who will massively prosper in the Smith system imo. I think he's done pretty well in most of his games so far.

Only real problem I foresee is that Grealish likes to drift out to the left a bit and I think that is area where McGinn is most effective.  He certainly got stuck in and broke play up well yesterday.

McGinn was brilliant yesterday. One of those all-action midfield performances that opposition teams hate.
Manages to produce an exclusion zone around himself by getting low down and sticking his bum out (more tea vicar) to shield the ball whilst being challenged.
Reminds me of Mark Hughes in that respect.
He was head and shoulders above anything else on that pitch yesterday.
The premier league sides will come a knocking if he keeps this form up.
How do we stop that......
Get promoted

Yes, he was excellent again. It'll be interesting to see who replaces him on Tuesday.

He runs like he's got an invisible bag full of shopping over each arm.

I really like him.

I think it should be Micah Richards with strict instructions that if he doesn't cover the same distance as McGinn did yesterday  his contract would be immediately cancelled.

He's excellent.  Very rarely makes a mistake, and just keeps going like the Duracell bunny.

Reminds me a little of Milner when he played in the centre...and now for Liverpool.

I'd love to see McGinn v Milner on a bleep test. They'd run out of bleeps before either of those two gave up!

He can't possibly keep this up, can he? Who does he think he is, the Scottish James Milner?

I've only seen the briefest of highlights, but brilliant, again.

Again, I've only seen the highlights but it looked obvious that Smith's told him to push forward more - he must've had half a dozen clear cut chances where he was the furthest man forwards.

With his engine he's capable of doing that so I can see him getting in to double-figures this season.
