How was it not a penalty when he was picked up and thrown to the ground at that corner late on?

He will get better as he gets used to the pace and fitness of English football.

He will get better when his bloody teammates get up to his speed.

Suspended for Tuesday away to Norwich.  Chance for Smith to look at other players.
With the Scotland games, he's played a lot of football this season, so the break, even though it's only 6 days, will do him good.

McGinn uses his arse like Gareth Barry. And that is a high compliment rather than a piss take.

He tackles with his arse rather than his feet!

He steals the ball, he screens the ball and he shields the ball to perfection. Great skills, although I'm sure he'll get sent off before long if he mistimes one of his 100mph lunges.

He's certainly got the Petrov/Barry arse the way he shields it.

If that prick who assaulted Grealish today near the dugouts didn't get sent off then McGinniesta should be fine.

He was superb but sometimes his over exuberance gets him into trouble and he loses the ball. But you cannot teach over exuberance. He’s got it in abundance and a first class attitude. Brilliant player.

The ref didn't even give a foul for the assault on Grealish did he? Got to say these refs are getting worse, if that is possible.

SJM was superb and has the energy and drive that the manager will be expecting from all of the players in the coming months.

Our best player for me today. I’m really impressed with his tenacity and energy. Hopefully we will manage without him Tuesday.

Someone who will massively prosper in the Smith system imo. I think he's done pretty well in most of his games so far.

The lad is a real blood and guts grafter- and well commited--to run up 5 bookings already speaks volumes, ---will sure be missed at Carrow Road,
