SJM like a few others have been guilty of giving the ball away to easily.

I don't think I'd sell.
The new  manager has just come into the building and who knows where he'll take the player development wise.
It's different if he wants to leave but I'm excited as to what will happen.
Not for sale unless the player asks to leave for me.

As footballers have all the power when it comes to transfers, if McGinn wants to leave in the summer he will be sold

If he did move to Manchester he will be near to his old mate Jack.

I'd bit your hand off for 60 mill. I like SJM but I think if we got a id like that I'd be cashing in, I often think his work rate and his song often blinds some fans to his actual return performance-wise.

I know it’s all about options but fecking hell, MCGinn is one of the best players at the club and vitally important to our progress.
I’m amazed people would be happy to sell.
If his value is somewhere between £45m and £60m then that means we have one hell of a player on our books.

I’d keep him, he’s bloody brilliant and on top of that he’s just an ace. Must be right great character to have around.

Why anyone would consider getting rid of McGinn is beyond me. This is exactly the kind of player we need in our squad and we badly missed him on Saturday. Hopefully our squad is getting to the point when we can rotate and players like McGinn can sometimes sit games out like anyone else, but I hope he's here for years to come.

I wouldn't choose to sell him. He's very good, but not great. He doesn't score enough goals and his passing can be terrible at times, so for £60m you'd almost certainly be able to get a better replacement.

Like who though?

He's brilliant, and unique.

Clearly such a high opinion of your fellow fans if you think we want to keep a player because of his song.

He's everywhere and exactly what we needed on Saturday.

Bloody hell there's some on here turning into Man City Billy Big Bollocks fans if they are even contemplating the sale of Super John.
The one player with us as a mid table championship club who could still be a big player for us if we broke into the top 4.

yeah, first think I think of when rating a player is how good his song is. Jeez.
