Even with that team we should still beat Hull. Sticking with my 0-4 Villa win.

How can he justify that team. Real chance to start again but back to the same old dross. RDL and green supposedly the standouts in pre season don’t get picked

Captain cautious strikes again.

RDL isn't even on the bench, injury maybe?  Must be something like that, because Bree is almost as bad as Taylor, and why have three central midfielders on the bench?  Especially when one of them is the criminally useless Gardner.

Isn’t RDL suspended for the first couple of games.

Apart from Boon, I llike that line up. Green to come on at the end, and score the winner.

Exactly

How about Start on the front foot with Green and not have to rely on someone to come off the Bench.

Is it 4-4-2 with Elmo on one wing and Albert on the other?  If so, a central midfield of Whelan and Hourihane looks a bit weak.  One who can't run at all, and one who can't tackle.

According to one or two people on Twitter, yes he is. He got sent off in his last game over in Belguim.

Bit of a dour line up if i'm honest. Bjarnasson for Whelan and Green for Elmo wold have made it a lot better.

He said that he feels like he’s starting all over again.  Well he clearly hasn’t learned anything from what has gone before.

The silver cloud for me to that lineup is he won’t be around long like this. Obviously hope I’m wrong but it’s tough as a fan right now as you always want the team to do well but the sooner the owners figure this guy out the better.

Unless the injury curse strikes again how the feck does he leave RDL out after the pre season he has had.

I don't consider Jedi a great loss tbh as I think Whelan is better there unless they have a big Ariel threat.

For me the shape is not important it's the positive way we should play on the front foot as they look there for the taking.

I'm sure we can guess the rest

aye, even gardner must be wondering what is going on. 7 years ago he made his debut for us and he's still here.

That's what I'd have gone for Clampy.  Although with Elmo at right back, and Hutton at left back too.

Disappointing line-up. Bruce has gone too defensive, doesn't he learn after the play-off final?
