Full-time, lost one-nil. Not a bad performance against a fully-professional side sixth in the top flight. We seem to have improved a lot since the Man U embarassment.

Were our ladies side fully pro when the mens were in the PL?

Also, is David Hughes, the youth coach, the same one we had in the 90's who made a few centre back appearances (including, if I recall, a fine performance in a 1-0 win over Liverpool?).

Interesting, ta. I know it doesn't mean much in the moneyed world of modern football but having the likes of Delaney and Taylor (and Sid of course for many years) still at the heart of a club they played for gives a nice feeling as a supporter.
