Before the game against Derby yesterday I had a trip to Bodymore to watch the Youth Team play against Chelsea.Chelsea tend to beat everyone at youth level and I was expecting a heavy defeat. We lost 1-0 and it was rather against the run of play. We played very well and were slightly the better Team but unfortunately missed two penalties. Outstanding performances from Mungo Bridge, who has been out injured for a few months and also from Indiana Vasilev. Jack Birch has also been in plaster for a while and He played very well in the holding midfield role. This might be common knowledge but it was news to me. Apparently Mungo has signed a Pro Contract but AC Milan had offered him a deal to join them. Good lad He decided to stay with us. He is a 6ft tall left footed Centre back. He played left back in the academy under age teams whenever I watched him but as He has got older the club has converted him to a centre back.
