Things can't really get much worse. Can they?

Oh shit, coming from you that's bad!

It's been a while since I was in either! Name changes etc. Empress was a bit meh back in the day. Woodlands was ok when it had the old tap room and was in Guinness Book of Records for having the most Pub Signs... one for each season.

I need a beer.

That doesn't strike me as the hardest record to break!

Okay, being almost certifiably positive:
Best case scenario: he's accepted an offer from someone (Freund seems as good as anyone), all assets are frozen until it goes through (no mass exodus), FFP resets, it's like the last two years never happened. And Jack stays as we're going to build the team, with a proper long term plan, around him.

This time next year we'll be (owned by actual) millionaires.

As things currently stand our starting line up for next season could be:

Steer

Bree
Chester
Jedinak
Elmohammady

Bjarnasson
Hourihane
Grealish

Adomah
Kodjia
Green

with a bench of
Sarkic
Whelan
Lansbury
Doyle-Hayes
OHare
RHM
Hogan
Davis

Until something changes, with Green and Kodjia fully recovered that is arguably as strong as last year and a team i would get right behind.

Except there's no chance of getting out of this mess and having that as a team.

where's your normal positivity gone Risso, I would be happy with that team for next year except for Jedinak on all occasions.

Empress was bought by the couple that own the Blues Bar so has had a facelift, 10 Devonshire is completely different to what it was, loads of guest beers if you're into that sort of thing and a proper pub!

Our flag will always be at the top of Football Everest, proudly planted in 1982, and it will stand there forever.

The community of Heroes and Villains will always be here to cheer us up and light up the darkness!

Walk under the expressway, buy a handv off Percy, fried onions and hotdog aromas, floodlights glow, hi viz coppers on horses, fresh horse shit, the Holte having a sing song, walk past Aston hall gates. Been 12 years away and since I’ve done that, but it’s the thing I miss most about blighty. Aus is great, but you can’t replicate that. We’ll come good.

I had an email from the Bournemouth Lions this morning saying Peter Withe is our special guest at the annual Summer BBQ. He will be bringing a replica of the European Cup.  I don't know if to laugh or cry!

We are the only club between London  and the North West that has the potential to be truly great again.

There are a couple of great pubs 10 minuteswalk from Harrogate Town's ground.

Are there? You must walk fast. Which I suppose you would be if you were going to the pub...

Devonshire and Black Swan?

10 Devonshire and Swan On The Stray, Empress is okay as well. I'll revise first two to 15 minutes!
10DP is head and shoulders above the other two, but I like what McColgan is doing to the Empress.

I didn't say I wouldn't be happy with it!  If you could guarantee that would be our starting line up next season I'd be delighted, as it would mean that somehow we'd got ouselves out of this sorry mess.

For every club like Leeds there is a Brighton - It may take a while - but I for one am prepared to wait

https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2017/04/11/brighton-booming-20-years-since-almost-destroyed/

Villa - my first true love and no fucking charlatan / tax man / or asset stripper is going to hurt her anymore
