Hopefully a proper shade of claret on the new shirt, a chance to build a different style and approach and to adopt an us against the world mentality! UTV

Have you had the "When you realise that Blues beating Fulham made Villa go bust" one yet?

No. I have had Blakey from 'On the Buses' telling Stan to "Put the tour bus back; they've fucked it up again" though.

As things currently stand our starting line up for next season could be:

Steer

Bree
Chester
Jedinak
Elmohammady

Bjarnasson
Hourihane
Grealish

Adomah
Kodjia
Green

with a bench of
Sarkic
Whelan
Lansbury
Doyle-Hayes
OHare
RHM
Hogan
Davis

Until something changes, with Green and Kodjia fully recovered that is arguably as strong as last year and a team i would get right behind.

Except there's no chance of getting out of this mess and having that as a team.
Cut the negativity. This is supposed to be a positive thread. The players left will hopefully be fighting for Aston Villa. No more meek surrenders like the first half at Wembley.

Have you had the "When you realise that Blues beating Fulham made Villa go bust" one yet?

That’s desperate, even for them.

What I take from all of this is that Villa still matter and are relevant.

The queue of ‘fans’ of other clubs to mock us shows they care about us than their own team.

I saw a tweet from a Newcastle ‘fan’ saying this was justice fo their relegation all those years ago....
