When we went down I said that if we were relying on Jack Grealish to get us out of the Championship we were going to be disappointed.

Obviously it takes more than one player but I think tomorrow Jack will prove me wrong, he was born to do this.

It would be criminal if he wasn't playing in the Premier League next season.

UTV
Wembley has seen some wonder goals in the play offs over the past few years, I think Grealish will add to the list tomorrow.

Well what can I say it should be a great final and its probably too close to call, but hey I'm hardly going to go against Villa on this one am I? With my positive head on will 2-1 Villa after extra time (this one could go all the way), Grealish and Terry to get our goals.  Up the Villa! Lets hope its a special day in our history :)

I知 full of nerves and full of excitement in equal measure. I知 expecting a fairly sleepless night but nevertheless I値l get up early and look forward to whatever the big day brings.

After an early meet in Canary Wharf, I値l head up to the Green Man for a few pre-match beers and to soak up the atmosphere. When Villa fans all move together, we池e an unstoppable force, hopefully tomorrow is one of those days. Enjoy the ride everyone..........UTV.

People don't think we could get up in next two years?

I know the loans would have to go back and Terry would probably move on but it's hardly like we'd have to put the youth team out, we should still be around the top 6.

Was talking to a guy who worked for the Nottingham Post the other day (was on same train as me) and he said Forest wanted Grabban and Jack Marriott (striker from Peterbrough) but he reckons we'd sign both if we don't go up. I joked Forest could have Hogan for a fiver.

A strikeforce next season of Kodjia, Grabban, Marriot and Kienan Davis still looks o.k to me and we could still get loans to plug other areas just like we've done this season.

What makes you think that Marriot is better than Hogan?

I think we may lose players such as Chester and maybe even Jack if we don't go up and couldn't blame them for moving on as they deserve to be playing in division one

Yes Jack and Chester could well go but if they do I'd be confident of getting close to 30m for those two so we'd still have a decent kitty to spend at this level.

I've had three nods from providence today that told we're going to do it.

- Jack Grealish has moved in across the road from my sister in Barnt Green.
- I was in the area today visiting the ancestor. On the train back to London this evening I was engrossed in a book. The first time of the entire journey that I looked up and out of the window I was passing Wembley stadium.
- I remembered that I wrote at some point on here earlier in the season that I 'guarantee that we won't be promoted' under SB.

Bring it on.

What about FFP? These two blokes are the heartbeat of our team, Jack loves the club as much as any of us. It will be harder next season with the likes of Stoke and Forest being more involved

We have superior resources, and at last, in the play offs, SB has paid attention to the strengths of the opposition.

We should get the job done. If we don't, then we are going to have to start using the youth system in a major way, the likes of which we have never seen before.

I don't know the full ins and outs of FFP but I'd say if we can raise 30m from player sales we should be o.k with it, transfer embargos are for the likes of SHA massively overspending and they've escaped a ban so far. FFP restricted us last summer in that we couldn't go out and buy more 10m + strikers but given lack of success of Hogan and McCormack I wouldn't say that's a bad thing.

You shouldn't need to spend 30m + to get promoted from this league anyway as I said earlier.

For me the most crucial thing is we've now stopped the losing culture that ran through the squad. You saw that after the premier league relegation and despite adding kodj, Jedi, Chester, Adomah etc we still couldn't win a game opening two months of the following season.

The club expects to win again so don't see why 5-6 new players in this summer would suddenly turn us back into a losing machine unless we signed them from Sunderland.

Seeing the Rolling Stones @ Olympic stadium tonight as my warm up for the main event, wondering what would be the most appropriate song they might play?

'Think I'm Going Mad'?
Forget that, it can only be 'Winning Ugly'.
Jumping Jack Grealish

Fool ham to cry.

JJG definitely the winner so far. I have so say I'm ignoring Florence & the Machine just as much as last time I saw 'em at a festy. Happy night before socialising brothers & sisters. May we soon be back where we belong...

More omens? The Stones opened with Jumping Jack Grealish and Keef was sporting a blue shirt over a claret t-shirt.

C'mon you LIONS! 🦁
