Fulham fans are very excited they are selling out. They are also going to out play Villa and out sing us! Hmm

That's just truly embarrassing, song sheets ffs.

They're a confident bunch judging by some of the posts on that board.

I'm not as nervous as before the semi finals. I also had a premonition that we will win 2-0.

Not sure I'd survive penalties. What a way to die.

I was chatting with a former poster today and his view of the game was as follows:-

Quote from: the erstwhile DC5
I am hoping that our crowd are totally hostile towards them. By all accounts, they shit themselves at St. Andrews. When we played them at Craven Cottage, I felt that our ‘best away trip’ attitude was akin to us joining in with their picnic on the terraces. It transmitted itself to the team. We need to get in complete control of the game, in both halves, and make them wish they hadn’t turned up. When we pick that cup up, I don’t want to see a Fulham fan in the ground.
Once that is done, we can all call them ‘nice, friendly Fulham’ again.

Just thinking about the enormity of the game now and starting to get nervous. I've been to 5 finals at Wembley with the Villa and we've won 2 and lost 3. When you think about it a League or FA Cup final really doesn't have any far reaching consequences on the club, a bit of glory if you win and a bit of disappointment if you lose.
This one game on Saturday could define our club for years to come. Win and were back in the money, we can invest in better players, infrastructure etc. Lose and we will probably have to sell Grealish, Chester etc, make cutbacks all around the club.

Or, more succinctly, fuck the fuckers.

How is he by the way, and Pauline?

I think it will go that way anyway. Especially if Boro away is anything to go by. It's a fair point though. I thought the crowd in the FA cup semi v Liverpool was raucous and loud. This definitely contributed to the outcome. The final v Arsenal the fans seemed quite tame and so did the team. Can't wait now. Bring it on.

DC5 is correct however I am not sure if an hostile environment can be created by the crowd at Wembley.

I'd say the crowd for the semi final helped the team get over the line, the last 10/15 mins was as supportive as Ive ever heard us.

Our end was rocking against Liverpool, whilst they barely made a peep all day. Our fans will be bang up for this on Saturday, we know how big it is and no-one will want the shame on their conscience of being outsung by Fulham.

A nice early rendition of "you can stick your f*cking clappers up your arse" will scare Hugo and his pals.

I went out with friends after the Fulham away game in February and there was a nauseous full-of-himself Fulham fan who was bigging them up bigtime.
It occurred to me that they are like Arse fans: they believe that the team which plays the prettiest football has a divine right to win every game. We need to play this fixture with a high level of controlled intensity and confidence. If we get that from the team - and we get an intensity from the Villa crowd - we will win this.
And, in the process of so doing, we will FTF.
