Fulham fans are very excited they are selling out. They are also going to out play Villa and out sing us! Hmm
I know villa fans that have been buying tickets off Fulham fans since Friday.

Reversion to the mean.

Finishing 3-6 one year means you’re more likely to finish lower than that the following year.

I feel it unlikely that any one is going to say we are going to lose on here, unless we get a stray ——— fan.
I fear the worst and hope for the best.

I think we’ll lose. Fulham would’ve been laughing to themselves watching our matches with Boro - they wouldn’t have cared who they got based on that.

However, I also thought we’d lose the Liverpool semi and didn’t go, and was thrilled to be proved wrong.

On their own patch Fulham are very good. But the game will be played on a pitch size similar to Villa Park. Also they weren’t exactly brilliant at Derby. It will all depend on what Bruce decides is the appropriate strategy for this game. If he goes out to win I think we will. If he tries to play the counter or grind out game I think we will lose. I hope it’s the former because we have the players for it. We have to play to win from the first kick of the ball.

Tickets sorted now so I can start to look ahead to the game!!  Was speaking to a fellow a Villa fan at work today who was saying that he obviously wants us to win, but the prospect of another season in the Championship doesn't worry him too much.  I can understand where he is coming from, but now we're in the play off final, not going up would seem like a backwards step.

I think Bruce has to get it spot on tactically on Saturday.  The areas of concern for me are their midfield and their two full-backs.  From what I have seen of them, they are not really overlapping full-backs as they tend to get in the box quite a bit.  I think we have got to watch their runs into the box and make sure they are tracked properly.  We've got to match their three in midfield as well as they like to get on the ball and dictate the play.  That said, it's not Real Madrid we're facing on Saturday and we have more than enough quality to beat them on the day.

I think Fulham might have too much for us after a long season with a strong, but ageing squad.

I'm going to the game pretty relaxed, if we win fantastic, if we dont then another season of hopefully winning more than we lose and being competitive is great by me.

I think a single goal will win it. UTV

Tickets sorted too...can't wait to see and hear the sea of claret'n'blue Villa fans roar on the lads at Wembley again!

When do we expect tickets to arrive in the post if bought tonight?

Just a thought I heard that anyone taking in flags would have them taken off them unless they
have permission, has anyone heard this as I would not be happy at any problems when entering.
Brings back memories of going into Anfield years ago only to be told balloons were not allowed so
having to burst them at the turnstile

About 750 tickets according to the online ticket office unless they're holding any blocks back.

Fulham lost to Blues when a win would have given them automatic promotion. That suggests to me they can choke when needing a result. I mean, losing 3-1 to that lot. What have we got to be worried about?

3-1 Villa

I would say this is our most important game since Rotterdam.
Big players come to the fore on days like this. That's why I'm confident for a 2-0 scoreline for our Villa boys.
