The fact that their manager is being linked with the Chelsea job may hopefully unsettle them a bit. I doubt he will get the job but anything that is a distraction to them, however slight can only be good for us.

You have to question the wisdom in them being allowed to buy 5 tickets, based upon their attendances / fanbase, they were obviously going to be put straight up for resale. Serious possibility of segregation issues now Villa have virtually sold out without even going to general sale.

It's not their fans I'm worried about.

I agree its the team we should be concentrating on but we will make a lot more noise than them and that will have an impact on their players. I happened to go to both the Fulham/Villa and Fulham/Wolves games and they were pretty quiet. In fact the Wolves game was pretty quiet from both sets of fans until they scored.

All these little things - crowd, manager Chelsea link, choking against the rags, age of their top players etc - will have an influence. Of course they're a good team but the occasion is going to throw them some challenges that I think we'll be better placed to handle.
