Rather presumptuous for Luke to be announced as the FA Cup final suit provider for next year.

But I like the ambition shown!

Formalwear?  I look forward to purchasing my new Luke branded dinner jacket and bow tie!
The dinner jackets will have light blue sleeves.

Not if Luke's doing them...

Strange - I wonder if it was actually profitable for Luke to make the kit - albeit for a single season. Pity as I really liked his versions.

You would have thought that there would be some tie in with Adidas considering our owners involvement - I would imagine it always comes down to who we can make the most money off as it is run by the commercial people rather than fans choices

We will eventually - we're stuck with the Fanatics deal for now though, no getting out of it hence Kappa.

How does that work Roy? Is there a link between Fanatics and Kappa, or is it a distribution contract thing?

Quick question for the more sartorial amongst you. I'm looking to order either the 1984 or 1992-3 retro shirt for Wembley. I know that some of the shirts in the retro collection (like the 1980 away shirt in white) fit bigger than their declared size. Do any of you know if the 1984 and 1992-3 shirts fit true to size please? I'm a medium in pretty much everything but unsure whether to order a small here. I don't want a baggy monstrosity but nor do I want to show off the shape of my nips.

My missus, for reasons I know not, gets some kind of executive emails (to this day, she won't tell me how she got a ticket for the Albion Cup game, I think they're related) from the Villa. There's one about the new Luke stuff. There's an H&V top. S'alright, but I prefer a long sleeve. They do one. It's called the "My Old Man". It ain't right, I tells ya.

Have we slipped down the pecking order to these upstarts, or are short sleeves kewler?

I take it Luke didn't ask your permission?

I think you can assume that.  I wonder what might happen if we did a Luke77 range.
