Very good first half. Very comfortable and dominant.
Average second half. Poor final ball and decision making and made hard work of it against a dreadful Leeds side.

Leeds are garbage and we should have won that far more comfortably. We need to click again as an attacking unit before the play offs. Kodjia needs a goal.

Another piss poor atmosphere at VP. The Holte is a shadow of it's former self, hopefully they remember how to sing in the play offs. Leeds' support was excellent considering the crap they're served up every week and every season.

30k plus twice in the space of four days is also very good. Not surprised you found fault though.
Didn't criticise the numbers did I? I agree they were two healthy crowds and would have been even higher if we were in the realistic hunt for 2nd. Noise-wise though it was dreadful tonight. People will dig me out for it no doubt but no-one can disagree. The atmosphere is shocking these days.

Out of interest, where do you sit?

It was another one of those games where we didn't seem to do very much to get the three points. I couldn't see them scoring though so it was fairly comfortable.
Yes I agree with that.

Job done, thought Whelan & Onomah did very well in the centre & gave that base for likes of Jack to play.

Snodgrass looked like he was running on empty and now play offs are nailed on a hope he’ll be getting a rest against Ipswich.

Kodjia reminded me of the Kodjia of last year, when he isn’t scoring he is a bit of a liability, if he doesnt know what he is about to do there’s no chance his team mates do :-) thought he did ok the other night from bench and I’d hope that is his role for the next 6 games.

A win is a win. Onwards to Portman Road, and I'll be rooting for Brentford today.

Credit also to Jedinak, who has been faultless at centre back for these two quick successive games.

Onomah had his best game for us, and Whelan and Elmo were excellent.
It’s a shame snodgrass has decided to be a bit shit again, just when it matters.

Jack, head and shoulders above anyone on the pitch.

Kodjia not a team player it’s no coincidence that we’ve been better without him. Yes he was our star man with 20 goals last season but looked where we finished. He’s selfish and is not a team player we’re better off without him I think.

Re the crowd noise it came over in the 2nd half as them just being quite nervous and cagey that the ‘usually’ inevitable equaliser was coming.

Fun fact.  This is the first season ever we have amassed 79 points.

We’d didnt have to be at our best to win comfortably, all the defenders did well.

Onamah was bright with the ball, naive and undisciplined without it. We didn’t really click going forward in the way we did on Tuesday, too many tired bodies and minds.

A proper Villaman performance from Snodgrass, not a lot went right for him but he stuck at it and worked his arse off. Good on him.

It wasn’t till the game opened up that we had the chances to make the score line more comfortable, fair play to the Leeds fans who made quite a racket considering how little their side gave them to cheer.

Not a game that will live long in the memory.

Not a great game but the schedule for us has been a bit ridiculous.  Snodgrass needs a rest desperately as nothing he tried came off. Jack looked really threatening all night. Fair play to Whelan and Taylor who both had decent games.

Hogan though, what is the point of him?

I know it's a case of 'if my auntie had bollocks' but jeeze, how costly does that 1 point from the QPR, Bolton, Hull and Norwich games look.

It's the Steve Bruce way though which is what makes his managerial tenure all the more frustrating. There was absolutely nothing to suggest coming off the high of Wolves, and even though he'd made no changes that our performance should have plummeted so dramatically vs QPR. Then further compounded by lacklustre displays against Bolton and Norwich with a surprisingly upbeat win vs Reading. All so bizarre. And then two decent wins in a row. It's all over the place. We should be locked in second place right now. But we're not.

Whelan ran the show tonight, the old warhorse was magnificent.
Must have rubbed off on Onhomah who played aswell as I've seen him in a Villa shirt.
I enjoyed the game wish we could of got the 2nd so we could have seen some skills from the lads.
Snod was really poor his free kicks were awful. Grealish just a pleasure to watch
