Well, as this is Aston Villa it looks like we’re going to do things the hard way.

I think sometimes you just have to take your hat off to the opposition and accept that you've lost to a truly great team. It happens. Add to that having to step out in front of a partisan, passionate home support in a packed out colossus of a stadium and you can see why they struggled, it must have been like stepping into a cauldron. We won't face that every week.
Yes  and last Tuesday??

Is that Conte's post match interview from midweek?

Possibly, I mean the comparisons were there for all to see, Henry like Busquets, that Beavis bloke like Pique, Ameobe like Messi and Le Fuckwit like Suarez.

How about we all watch the U23’s?
3 wins in 5 days is very impressive from the lads.

the limitations of a Bruce side

... are an imitation of a Lambert side.

"Wor Stevie's" nonsensical incoherence pre and post match has been all too familiar of late and I cannot help but feel a grim foreboding.

How on earth could we not have scored as many as or more goals than Super Bolton From The Noooooorth West?

(I fricking hate that song)

And I fricking hate Steve fricking Bruce.

(edited because stupidity)

After our last couple of performances what chance do we realistically have of staying in the premiership if we do go up ?

Is there a crash course in tactics during the summer?

Never understand these statements. We could get a new gaffer and squad  and most importantly would secure the finance to avoid the nightmare of FFP

Good comment on sky

Too much reliance on individual players and not enough of a plan.

Saw that and completely agree we have no set game plan and if our individuals are marked out of game we fall apart .Bruce tactics where shambolic as well , Grabben barely touched the ball all game as once again a Bruce team can't uterlize a striker so we have 1 striker who has no service from a 5 man midfield and end the game with 4 strikers having no service from a 1 man midfield

Glad we have a break now as the team/Bruce needs to pull thier shit together or we will at worse case fall out of the play off or simply go into them in dismal form

The wheels have well and truly come off the juggernaut this week
Unbelievable until you realise you are talking about the Villa
For us "old uns it's like a 're- run of watching the club over the last 50+ years -  I feel for my son's'generation
Once again he looks me in the eye and says
" we really are shit aren't we?"
Hard to argue

Well, it's not really that hard to argue. Two piss poor results, but were you and your son sharing that sentiment this time last week?

I doubt it.

Yes, today was awful, and so was QPR, but let's get a grip here.

We are fourth, it's a fucking long season, bad results happen.

We have been considerably shitter than we currently are for almost the entirety of the last seven years.
Like 99% of most Villa fans we were surprised, nay shocked at the Wolves result -  so subsequently losing to teams placed 15th and 18/19th  just a few days later Is in my book
,shit.
Our shittiness has been varying in degrees over the last 7  years and I like many have seen leaner years but given the money spent I think it is reasonable to expect better results and performances - ok yes shit happens but how many of us would have taken wins/draws over Fulham, qpr and Bolton over a win over local opponents Wolves
Over reaction from me and junior? Maybe but let's be honest the last two performances and results have been dire -  Or put another way, shit ergo we are currently shit whether 4th or not :)
We are Villa mad which what makes us so irrational when we lose to the likes of QPR 1-3 at home
Still we can no longer compete with the likes of Burnley,Huddersfield,Brighton et al including mighty Cardiff
