Someone from this Parish eluded that it was a big / proper game  that Villa Park hadn't staged for a while.Take the blose game and all the nonsense that goes with it out of the equation  , they were right. I know we won and I had the pleasure of sitting next to the away fans in the Witton Upper , but it felt like a big game.I haven't been to a game a Villa Park with that atmosphere for a long time.

The only time I have even given a toss about Wolves was when I was eight and they took my hero Andy Gray off us and I then had to watch him win the league Cup for them. I think I even cheered them on when they were winning the lower divisions and Sherpa Van trophy under Graham Turner even though I didn't like Turner himself for being Doug's puppet/muppet and generally being crap for us. I didn't really buy into the dislike of them on here before today's game but when people say pride comes before a fall, today Wolves found out that cockiness/arrogance comes before a fall. I love the way that John Terry practically referees the game, I love the way Jack Grealish buys cheap fouls for us like Ashley Young did for us. I love the way we have slapped the noses and Wolves down. We are now savvy and streetwise as a team. We have stopped being bullied and are often the bullies. Right or wrong I know which one I prefer being. If anyone wants to post a link to any Wolves fan sites I would be happy to have a read of them.

Agreed

Never been bothered about Wolves before but their talk of champs league is just ridiculous. They were hulmilated tonight but unfortunately have enough points on the board already to ensure auto promotion

Just Google 'Molineux Mix' for their main forum.

I more or less regard Wolves as the Hitchhiker's Guide regards Earth.

And both Jack and Snoddy are very good at knowing how to get the cheap fouls to relieve pressure or buy the team some time.

It sounds like the title of Jive Bunny's 'difficult third album' but thankyou I will give it a go.

Brilliant stuff. Bruce didn't go negative to his credit. We were well in it at half time and I was pleased but wow what a second half. Ruthless in front of goal and solid when we needed to be. Games like this make it all worthwhile. UTV

Thoroughly enjoyed that. And just as important as the results, I bloody love this team!  I can’t remember when I last felt this way, knowing that there are players prepared to put themselves about and show real passion. Loved Snodgrass’s reaction at the end, he is fast becoming a Villa legend.
