They were all excellent tonight, but I thought Elmohamady had a very strong game. Rarely gets a mention, but put his head down and did a fantastic job at right back.

It was lovely proper lovely walking out of Villa Park tonight.
Grealish was like Cryuff at times, ghosting past players, he’s got everything in spades

I really enjoyed his performance, it was as if all the hype about Wolves being a premier league team and had these galacticos had got to him, and he thought he'd show them what a proper premier league player in the Championship looked like.

And in other news, if turn my thoughts towards player of the year, I simply cannot name an obvious candidate.  And how refreshing is it, that it's because so many players have made such great contributions to the season and not because they've been a total shower.  Albert, Snoddy, Chester, Terry and not to forget Johnson and Hutton too.

Personally I'd give it to Chester but agree with what you're saying - great that there are so many strong candidates for it.

If only I had a Wolves mate who has given me shit all season.  I'll say nothing Monday morning.  Let the sod sweat and come to me.  " It aye fair. Snodgrass, penalty, ref". Lovely stuff😆. Thank you Steve.  Great today.

Leave it to the MOM when we get promoted AUTOMICALLY

So the coaches full of Madrid wanderers left wall heath today and arrived at VILLA PARK. Once there they were led to the pitch in front of the Holte end and made to grovel for forgiveness.  The mighty Holte in its wisdom refused their request and they were subjected to a beating Putin would have been proud of. The message to the dingles is quite simple... Don't ever think you are going to turn up at a shrine like VILLA PARK and win. We are ASTON VILLA...Now fuck off back to the black Country and don't come back.

Grinding those mutants into the dust is no more than our predecessors would expect of us.  Normal service has been resumed.  Inbred vocally disabled slag heap burrowers get thee hence.

That referee. What an absolute shithouse.
According to the Danish commentator he's up for promotion to the PL!

Player of the Season is going to be close.

Grealish for me because, whilst he hasn't played a hug amount, he's made a massive difference and turned us into a team that looks the sum of its parts.

Fantastic win. Today is going to be a mighty fine day.

Just seen the highlights. Snodgrass and Adomah do put in some wonderful crosses, very hard to defend against.

Barney's goal was excellent, great finish to the game.

This is what happens when I don’t attend.

It’s like Legion’s Sunderland game :)

Can we both agree to stay away for the rest of this season?

I take it that PL means Polar League.  Reykjavik Rowdies v Faroese Firecrackers.  Sounds about the correct level for Chumps League referees.
