Hands up who enjoyed that?

Games like this make me think twice about actually wanting to go up, if that makes any sense.  It had everything we could possibly want, the place was rocking, who cares if it was the second division?

Let's aim to do it in the top division and win things!

It was lovely proper lovely walking out of Villa Park tonight.
Grealish was like Cryuff at times, ghosting past players, he’s got everything in spades

What a magnificent performance. The Wolves fans must be embarrassed to show their faces - lucky that gormless pillock printed out all those Mendes masks for them. Turns out they were a good idea after all.

What an absolutely great feeling it is having won so comprehensively against the league leaders, beer is going to taste sweet again tonight.  Well done all concerned.  C'mon you Villa boys!

I have been critical of Bruce all season and don't think he should be our manager in the premiership, but the last 11 games he's transformed the squad and today was the pinnacle so far. Hope there are a few more to come.

Well done all at B6 UTV

Great to watch. Brilliant performance especially 2nd half. Super ball by Snoddy for the assist on the goal  Grabban absolutely brilliant. Jedinak warranted his inclusion however it worked out as Bjarnason who scored a super goal came on replacing the Albert the almighty.

Bjarnason seems a simple soul not much celebrating during his outrageous goal or at then end. Despite his own shyness he was part of a team that showed great character.

Some poor challenges by wolves today who crumbled I can only imagine they did part due to the magnificent villa support wolves couldn't handle it.

What was so satisfying was way villa wanted it and their appetite to show mean business.

Super jack ruled.
Good to see lansbury run out.

(Hourihane needs to  be dropped against qpr apart from stupid challenge for yellow he offered little on or off the ball)

Well played Bruce you deserved this.
Played to right tempo and owned it.

Made a great team look ordinary

Up the villa.

It was lovely proper lovely walking out of Villa Park tonight.
Grealish was like Cryuff at times, ghosting past players, he’s got everything in spades

I really enjoyed his performance, it was as if all the hype about Wolves being a premier league team and had these galacticos had got to him, and he thought he'd show them what a proper premier league player in the Championship looked like.

And in other news, if turn my thoughts towards player of the year, I simply cannot name an obvious candidate.  And how refreshing is it, that it's because so many players have made such great contributions to the season and not because they've been a total shower.  Albert, Snoddy, Chester, Terry and not to forget Johnson and Hutton too.
