We learned a lot from Hogan's youtube video - he basically scored loads via through balls.

This guy seem to be just a tap-in merchant and a lot of the goals are where he beat (?) the offside trap that maybe down to him or the crap defending.

So he's not a something out of nothing type like Kodija, but obviously we were never likely to land a striker of that calibre.

He is simply a guy in the box to score tap-ins or take advantage of bad defending.

As said earlier in thread, nothing special but a logical and 'on-par' signing for us should Hogan get injured, may even be better replacement.

Most certainly enhances our promotion hopes.

12 goals in 19 games (and he didn't start all those games) in that Sunderland team is impressive. We would have struggled to have got anyone else who is in that type of goalscoring form this season at this level.

At least 3 or 4 30 yard plus tap ins from what I saw.....

They’ve just beaten Chelsea without him (Bournemouth).

But if his face didn’t fit, and it does here, and he’s good, Welcome Lewis!

Very funny video. Clearly Keith has an issue with Alan Nixon at the Sun with the tweet on there.

The resulting twitter spat is also amusing, with Keith telling him that even a blind chicken gets some corn

If he scores 20 goals between now and the end of the season for us I will buy a shirt with his name on the back.
If he does I will buy you the shirt !

Yes, I think there’s somebody there with a bit of imagination and a lovely sense of humour.

He's 30? Send him back when we get promoted. I wonder what the loan fee is, a million and two more if we get promoted?

Welcome addition. He knows the championship, 12 goals in 19 games with Sunderland. Back up for the run in.
Good work Villa.

Is that all? Just a fella that makes defenders nervous with his runs and pulls them out of position. Plus being hungry in the box. What are you looking for in a striker?
