I don't mind us signing him because if any of our strikers get injured in the run in we are in trouble plus it can only benefit the team to have another striker ready to compete for a place in the first team.

We needed a striker, by the sound of it we've got one. Well done to all concerned and welcome Lewis.

Seems a bit odd.  He's been mostly shit for his career, but then has done well at Sunderland, so much so that he gets recalled to his home club, only for them to then loan him out again a few weeks later?

It was him that asked to leave Sunderland.

I hope his attitude isn't a problem. I guess it's only an assumption that he's got an attitude problem.

Did well in a wretched Sunderland side. I am glad we have strengthened but I'm a little in the dark as to his qualities.

That’s what I’m hoping and was alluding to in my comment about how many clubs he’s been at. Be it permanently or on loan. That said we have lots of very strong personalities and leaders at the club, and he’s coming in to a very positive environment.

He'd get ripped a new one within seconds if he has an attitude problem. Can you see the likes of Terry, Chester, Hutton, Hourihane, Jedi, Whelan etc..standing for it? Me neither.

By all accounts he wasn’t keen on staying at Sunderland and he returned by mutual consent.

cant blame him

hes never been that prolific  yet in a shit sunderland team hes been banging the goals in this season

and at least he aint Grant fecking Holt  whos idea was that ?

If he scores 20 goals between now and the end of the season for us I will buy a shirt with his name on the back.
