Got to take full advantage from tonight’s result at Derby. Don’t take anything for granted.

For Canadian based Villa fans. I subscribed to a legal streaming service called DAZN. Also downloaded the app from the App Store to my phone and iPad. Has loads of games, not just football. I’m watching Derby vs Bristol City right now. Tomorrow Villa vs Barnsley is the feature EFL game. The quality of the broadcast is outstanding. Puts AVTV to shame. You can pay $20 a month or there is a promo of $150 for year.

It's the featured game on our UK highlights here on Channel 5 aswell.

Instantly recognisable as it's the one 3pm Championship game with more than one camera angle.

I do find it bizarre given the money being pumped into the championship now, all games aren't properly recorded like premier league games are.

Spanish, French, Italian and German second division matches are.

This won't be easy. We're going to have to grind out a tight win. I'll go 1 or 2 nil. Hopefully Hulk can find the net again. Keith Wyness made a very interesting point last night about Steve Agnews input. Said he's spent a lot of time working with Hogan. Apparently the coaches are now working on their own expertise. Sounds like a plan.

The speed we move the ball is key in the final third. We can cope with the midfield being further advanced as I think they'll tuck in with a low defensive block.

A plan, Edge? What be this strange widdershinnery of which ye speaketh?!  :o

Anyroad', I'm swathed in my usual cautious optimism regarding this arternoon's match - so I'm going for a cheeky 2-1 home win: after the inevitable early-doors worldy/fluke from a Tyke who hasn't scored for years. Obviously.

Another excellent home performance were we smash Barnsley to pieces enjoying less possession and having less shots on goal but winning by the unbelievable score of 1 - 0!!!!!!

It might be tongue and cheek, but if you watched the Forest game, you won't witness a more commanding and comfortable away performance all season.

Burton, Barnsley and Preston? All comfortable with plenty of breathtaking space.

Ha ha yeah sorry to throw such a curve ball in there. I had to look up the word "plan" as it's such a strange notion in these parts. Apparently Mr Wyness has lots of them.

If this snow keeps falling all day it's going to hinder our free flowing football today.

In the 59-60 promotion season I remember enduring loads of 1-0 victories, I checked and it was 7 .

We also beat Bristol City that season 5-0 but it was away.

We hammered Charlton 11-1 too so who knows that me be yet to come, Today?

Can take nothing for granted in the Championship but think we should have too much for Barnsley.  Will go 2-0 to the Villa.  Double A and Terry to score.
