2-0 hopefully. We lost this one last year didn't we?  Hogan and Adomah to score in first half and we defend adequately in a dull second half.

FIFA 18 predicts a 5-1 home win:- Hamill (11), Adomah (pen) (55), Hourihane (65), Hogan (72), Grealish (89), Snodgrass (93)

Shouldn't this be a pre-match thread?
Anyway, it's got to be a Villa win.
I'm going for 3-0.

Injury concerns per Bruce....

Jedi
Glenn
Elmo

If Jedi is fit he should start. Otherwise I'd give Bjarney a start in that position ahead of Glenn/Yoko

Yes it should. I was trying to amend but see that the Head Dave got there first

They've not lost in 5, but at the same time they have only one once in 13 and haven't scored a great deal in that time. They did well to hold Barca last week, although I note Real Wolverhampton have only scored 9 in 10 games.

For me I would go with the following;

Johnstone

Hutton
Terry
Chester
Elmo [De Laet if Elmo is not fit, although I suspect Taylor will come back in and Hutton switch to right back]

Jedinak [or Thor if the Jedi is out]

Snodgrass
Hourihane
Grealish
Adomah

Hogan

We need to avoid any slip ups against sides like this here on out to ensure pressure is maintained. Get on the front foot by ensuring we play that higher starting point for the full backs and midfield. Plenty of bodies in and around the box when we go forwards.

Jedi - shame but think Bjork will suffice rather than Onomah who is gash
Glenn - No loss I suppose
Elmo - Please bring in Bree / DeLaet - DO NOT change Hutton over and bring in Taylor

2-0 Jack and Chester

I want these home wins to become boring now until end of season

I think this is a big game for Jack. He's looked excellent since coming into the team, against decent opposition that have looked to attack. Saturday will be different and he'll need to unlock a stubborn defence (presumably, I haven't seen Barnsley play recently...). Seems odd to say, but playing against weaker opposition will be a bigger test for him. A great chance to show the league that he can be unplayable.
