If we get Woking there's a decent chance it will be on TV IMO, though with them being away the cameras may not be so chumping at the bit.  I'm happy with the draw.  Probably would prefer Peterborough (I'm from there), and there would be less pressure on us and it would be a smaller upset.  A cup run would be nice, but the league is the key focus.

I wonder how many stands they’ll have open at the Sty for the Burton game...
Appreciate its small time but sod it, i revelled in the latest Blues defeat on Monday night. Wolves fans singing ‘Blues are falling apart again ‘ while their hosts huffed and puffed their way to another goalles home defeat, Sky rubbing it in when explaining 12 months ago they sacked Rowett while nestling comfortably in fifth place or thereabouts,  an air headed Bluenose being red carded for an imbecilic violent act in an attempt to match the behaviour of the onlooking unwashed, if they were still playing now I doubt Blues would have reached the opposition eighteen yard box they were that crap. Bemused Manager, demoralised supporters, powder puff first eleven and as comprehensive a 1-0 as you will ever see. Beautiful. Up yours Blues.

Any noise yet as to which one will be moved? My Bluenose missus and I will be going to both.

Have we ever played Woking in competition before? Last time we played Peterborough was in opening our defence of our '94 LC win IIRC.

I don't want Woking. I don't want Woking. I just don't want my Albion supporting mates to be in with any chance of healing '91.

Neither, I imagine.

I want to play Woking, we never play non-league teams (about once in the last 50 years).

Looking forward to the TV feast of Man Utd V Derby

Of course, BBC are obliged to show all Man U cup games
Amazingly the United game is NOT on the box, the Beeb have got the Merseyside derby on the Friday night.

Twice. But it was in the same game.

Part of me thinks I'd rather play a non-league team, but the other part of me thinks that in all of this decade of misery we haven't lost to a non-league team yet, and Villa like to find new and exciting ways to embarrass and annoy me.

Are Woking professional or semi-pro?

You should know that there is no such thing as a professional football team in England.

Did we not play Gravesend a few years ago?

And Northfleet. 2 teams and we still beat them. They are now called Ebbsfleet United.

Has it been mentioned yet that Woking beat the Albion 20 odd years ago 4-2 in the cup at the Hawthorns?  I worked in Surrey around that time so could enjoy their moment in the sun along with them.

We've played Chester, Leyton Orient, Tranmere and Darlington in recent years who were league clubs at the time but are all non league now.

I don't think the Chester that we played exist anymore. The ones in the Conference are a new club. Possibly the same with Darlington.

Never mind the cup we played Orient last game of the season when only a penalty stoppped them going up to Division one  in place of Carlisle.  Probably the lowest Villa support for a league game ever.
