H-T 0-0. Bruce rightly reacted to their dominance and changed formation but he shouldn't have gone back three in the first place. It wasn't broke so why try and fix it

Because he is a clown, seems to have a real soft touch for three at the back

At least he changed it before they scored, last 15 mins we have dominated. Davis hasn't been as sharp today. Green and Onomoah taking too many wrong options but we look by far the most likely to go on and win the game, particularly if we decide to use one of our many right back options, at right back for the second half...

Big positive is that we go in 0-0 having wasted so much of that half with a shit formation.

I like your optimism but we don't have time to waste. If we expect to get promoted we need to be twatting shit teams like this.

Snodgrass must be an upgrade on Elmo surely? Elmo looks very average

At right wing back?

Agreed, They look poor to be honest. A reasonable team would have taken advantage of how disjointed we were for 25 minutes.

A draw tonight would definitely be 2 points lost

A bit worrying that we're looking to replace a player we only signedless that a month ago.

Had De Laat been fit for a second game this week he would have been a better choice to start.

5 at the back to start, what was he thinking? Better since changing to 4.

I expected more energy and movement from the young guys. Throw ins are painful, with the attacking players like statues.

Bruce needs to put a rocket up their arses at half time.

At the start we looked like a team with lots of players in roles they didn't know trying to link with players who weren't where they expected them to be.  It was exactly what you'd expect to see if the only practice of the formation was a few minutes at the end of games and 20 minutes in training.  That's why Bruce is a dinosaur and, whilst he's realised that they looked lost, he's left himself with a team that looks unbalanced, with Davis looking isolated and ineffective for it.
Paul you're so fucking one eyed it's unbelievable.  He tried something, it didn't work and he had the balls to make an early change.

Bruce's tenure at Villa has been poor and he was pushing his luck before the two wins.  But your constant negativity is so boring.
